Attritor Machine — Heavy-Duty Mixer for Viscous Materials

The Attritor Machine is designed for heavy-duty mixing of thick and highly viscous materials. It is commonly used for dense batches where strong mechanical force is required to achieve uniform blending. The machine is equipped with a powerful motor, selected according to the batch size and material consistency — making it suitable for a wide range of demanding industrial applications.

Inside the tank, strong rods or paddles made of heavy-duty metal are installed to handle tough materials. These rods are fixed at one end and rotate to push and fold the material effectively throughout the mixing cycle. Unlike other mixers that rely on hydraulic systems, the Attritor has a simple, robust construction with no hydraulic components — making it easier to maintain and operate over the long term.

How It Works

Step 1: The powerful motor drives the central shaft which rotates the heavy-duty mixing rods or paddles at the required speed.
Step 2: The rotating rods push and fold the dense, viscous material continuously — applying strong mechanical force throughout the vessel.
Step 3: The horizontal tank design allows gravity to assist in the even distribution and handling of thick, heavy mixtures.
Step 4: Additional materials or ingredients can be added from the top of the tank during operation without stopping the machine.
Step 5: Once mixing is complete, the discharge valve at the bottom of the tank allows easy and controlled removal of the finished batch.
