The Horizontal Bead Mill Machine is a high-efficiency closed continuous grinding machine for liquid materials. It is designed with a horizontal mixing chamber containing inside discs on a rotating shaft along with grinding media. It is an ideal choice for liquid materials grinding production — easy to operate, easy to clean, and suitable for switching between different materials or colors.
Double-acting mechanical seal and a self-lubrication system make the machine reliable with stable working conditions. New Star Engineering Works manufactures 9 Bead Mill models — from NEW-5 (5L chamber) to NEW-1000 (1000L chamber) — covering small laboratory setups all the way to large industrial production lines.
Step 1: Material is pre-dispersed through a mixer and then pumped into the horizontal grinding chamber via a material pump.
Step 2: Inside the chamber, the rotating shaft drives disc impellers at high speed, agitating the grinding media (beads).
Step 3: The beads collide with material particles continuously, breaking them down into very fine, uniform particle sizes.
Step 4: The double-acting mechanical seal ensures zero leakage during the continuous grinding process under pressure.
Step 5: Ground material exits through the separation screen while the grinding beads remain inside the chamber for continuous operation.
